Norma and Gadget were neighbors, but their friendship grew into a love that would last forever. They balanced each other perfectly. Norma could at times be sharp tongued, or a bit abrasive and when she faced moments like that Gadget would be soothing, calm and zen. Together they loved to chat, and talk and fill the room with laughter and happiness, I think when Pa passed away, part of Nomo was lost at the same time. Spending Sunday afternoon's with Nomo and Pa usually resulted in all of us napping in front of a golf game, although there was the occasional beer break, where I'd earn a quarter for each beer I'd fetch for Pa. That came in pretty handy when Nomo and I would go to garage sales.
